Terms of service

These terms apply when you download, try or buy Omnibar, a Mac app made by Berkley Software. By using Omnibar you agree to them.

Trial

You can use the full app free for 14 days before you buy. No payment details are needed to start the trial.

What you get when you buy

• Omnibar, $29 once. A license to use the app on up to three Macs you own or control, with every update released in the year after purchase. The version you have keeps working forever, whether or not you renew.
• Update Renewal, $15 per year. Optional. Adds another year of updates. Cancel at any time; your copy keeps working.
• All Access, $49 per year. The app and every add-on, with updates while the subscription is active. If you cancel, you keep the versions you have.
• Lifetime, $149 once. The app and every add-on, with all future updates, for life.

Prices are in US dollars. Tax may be added at checkout depending on where you live.

Our promises

1. Nothing in the app you bought ever moves into a paid add-on.
2. Your copy never stops working, even if you never renew.
3. An add-on only exists if it does a job the app never claimed to do.
4. A price change never applies to something you already own.
5. Every add-on costs less than one year of the subscription it replaces.

Refunds

If Omnibar does not work for you, email support@getomnibar.com within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full.

Payments

Purchases are sold and processed by Polar Software, Inc. as merchant of record. Polar's terms apply to the payment itself.

Your license

Your license key is for you. Please do not share it publicly or resell it. You may move it between your own Macs by removing one before adding another.

AI assistants

Omnibar's AI features use the assistant you connect: ChatGPT through Codex, Claude through Claude Code, or OpenRouter with your own key. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms and paid through your own account with them. Answers come from those services and may be wrong; check anything important.

Warranty and liability

Omnibar is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Berkley Software is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Omnibar in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Changes never reduce what you already bought.
