Omnibar for Mac costs $29 once, with one year of updates. Your license never expires, so the version you have keeps working after that year. Lifetime costs $99 once and includes every future version. You can try the full app free for 14 days first, with no payment details.

Questions about buying

When does the trial start, and what happens when it ends? The 14-day trial starts the first time you open Omnibar. When it ends without a license, the Omnibar panel offers only buying and entering a key. Settings stays open and nothing you saved is deleted. Entering a key unlocks the app again.

What happens after a year? With Omnibar, your license never expires and the version you have keeps working. Versions released after your year of updates ends are not installed unless you renew. Update renewal costs $15 a year, is offered to owners inside the app, and renews automatically each year until you cancel. A renewal adds a year from the later of the date your updates end and the date you renew, so renewing early loses no time. With Lifetime, every future version of Omnibar is included and there is nothing to renew. Other apps or add-ons released later, if any, are sold separately.

Do I need an AI plan? No. Filename search, clipboard history, snippets, window management and local calculations work without an AI connection. AI answers and other AI actions require one. To get AI answers, install and sign in to a supported command-line tool, Codex or Claude Code, or save an OpenRouter key. An installed tool can appear in Omnibar before its sign-in has been verified. Omnibar does not charge for AI, and what you pay OpenAI, Anthropic or OpenRouter is separate. Using a ChatGPT or Claude plan this way depends on OpenAI's and Anthropic's terms for apps that run their tool, as of 8 October 2026, and may change if they change those terms. How many Macs can I use it on? One license key works on up to 3 Macs. To move the license to another Mac, choose Remove This Mac in Settings, License on the old Mac, or use Manage Your Macs to remove a Mac you no longer have, then enter the key on the new Mac.

Do I need an account? No. You receive a license key by email after the purchase.

Who handles the payment? Polar Software, Inc. sells Omnibar for us as the merchant of record. Polar collects your payment details and handles taxes. The privacy policy has the details.

Can I get a refund? Yes. Email support@getomnibar.com within 14 days of your purchase for a full refund. The terms describe refunds.

Which Macs are supported? Requires macOS 14 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon.
